ASAP & Pre Orders

The best way to explain how timings work from a franchise and customer perspective is by referencing the diagram below.

Above, an outlet has setup a time slot: 10:00am to 3:45pm.

ASAP is set to 20mins

Preorders is set to 45mins

Delivery Order

Customers can place an ASAP order at any time. Let's assume the customers address is within a delivery zone that is set to 15 mins delivery.

The app or website will clearly highlight 2 things:

  • When deliveries/collections start (eg. above would be 10am)
  • When the order should be expected (see below)

A customer viewing the site on Monday at 10:00am would see ASAP as available and expected delivery time to be around 10:35am. (20 mins + 15min delivery = ~35mins).

A customer viewing the site on Monday at 8:00am would see ASAP as available and expected delivery time to be around 10:35am. (10:00am + 20 mins + 15min delivery = ~2h 35mins).

A customer viewing the site on Monday at 5:00pm would see ASAP as available and expected delivery time to be Tuesday at 9:50am. (9:15am + 20 mins + 15min delivery).

Collection Orders

Collection order work as above but without adding the delivery portion. eg...

A customer viewing the site on Monday at 8:00am would see ASAP as available and expected collection time to be around 10:20am. (10:00am + 20 mins = ~2h 20mins).

Pre Orders

Customers can now pick from a list of available times for an individual outlet. Preorder times will account for the preorder times set against each time slot. (eg. above 45 mins).
