How to add extra options to an item
Customizing your menu with extra options adds flexibility and variety to your offerings on One Platform. Follow these steps to easily create and manage additional choices for your menu items.
Step 1: Access Your Chain/Outlet Settings
- Start by logging in to your One Platform account.
- Navigate to the "Chain/Outlet" section.
Step 2: Access the Menu
From the Chain/Outlet settings, follow these steps:
- Locate the "Menu" section and click on it.
Step 3: Select the Item to Edit
Choose the menu item to which you want to add extra options. If the item isn't already in your menu, you'll need to create it first. To edit the item:
- Click on the item you want to enhance with extra options.
Step 4: Create a New Option Group
Once you've accessed the item, proceed to add extra options:
- Create a new option group by clicking the designated option.
Step 5: Create an Extra Option
You now have the opportunity to add a new option to your selected item:
- Click "Add Option."
- Provide a name for the option.
- You can also include a basic description and, if necessary, an extra fee for this option.
- Once you've configured the option, remember to click "Save Changes" to apply it to the menu item.
Step 6: Save Your Changes
After adding extra options, ensure that you save your changes to make the enhancements live on your One Platform menu.
